Glorious independently bottled single malt from Ardmore! This gently peated Highlander was distilled in March 2003 and filled into a single refill hogshead cask, where it remained for 18 years. In September 2021, the cask was opened by the folks at Douglas Laing to release a total of 310 bottles for its Old Particular series.

Nose: Charcoal embers and toasted oak mingle with robust barley and a hint of heather.

Palate: Figs and prunes bring some sweetness with a good helping of peat smoke followed by nutmeg and citrus zest.

Finish: Warming ginger and honey linger alongside smoked spice and peppery oak.
